Dmitrijs Ozoliņš — Technical Project Manager & Delivery Leader
Ideas, structured.
Teams, arranged.
Pace held to the line.
I'm the person teams turn to when things get messy — a Technical Project Manager and delivery leader who moves fluidly between stakeholder strategy, team leadership and the codebase itself. A decade in manufacturing before software taught me to respect process as much as code; AI-enabled workflows now help me analyse faster and structure complexity across both.

Two disciplines, one operating model
Delivery leadership × hands-on engineering
I don't hand off to a PM or an architect — I am both, depending what the week needs. The same systems thinking that scopes a delivery plan shapes the code underneath it.
Delivery & team leadership
Delivery trackTeam Leadership
Built and led distributed teams of up to 15–18 people across fintech, insurance and logistics engagements, staying technically involved throughout.
Agile Delivery
Certified Scrum Master (2019) and Product Owner (2020) running Agile/Scrum delivery, sprint cadence and release process end to end.
Stakeholder & Risk Management
The bridge between business goals and technical execution — requirements analysis, vendor coordination and risk management as an independent subcontractor.
Hands-on engineering
IC track.NET Architecture
C#/.NET Core services, legacy SOAP-to-API migrations and Dockerized deployments preparing systems for cloud migration.
Integrations
Payment, insurance and logistics integrations — Azure Queue messaging, SMS services, bank payment processing, aggregator APIs.
Full-Stack Delivery
Angular and React front ends over SQL Server and Oracle back ends — from greenfield builds to enterprise modernization.
Selected work
Problem, delivery, approach
Independent subcontractor engagements across fintech, insurance and logistics. Every project has three stories — the technical one is rarely the hardest.
Cembra
2024 — 2026The problem
A Buy Now, Pay Later platform needed its core integration delivered on a fixed timeline — connecting to the largest Swiss payment provider, with the main API also serving thousands of merchants.
Delivery & scale
Coordinated delivery of the payment provider integration on time, as delivery manager across the engagement — planning, stakeholder coordination and hands-on integration work.
Approach
Migrated the legacy system to modern .NET Core microservices on Azure Service Bus, alongside the merchant-facing API and payment provider integration.
Storent
2022 — 2024The problem
An equipment rental company needed a client-facing platform shipped with real delivery discipline, not just code.
Delivery & scale
Ran as Technical PM across the engagement while staying a hands-on full-stack contributor.
Approach
Full-stack delivery — Angular front end over a C#/.NET backend — with an Agile process built alongside the product.
Sapiens
2019 — 2021The problem
An insurance platform needed Agile transformation and distributed-team delivery discipline layered onto an existing codebase.
Delivery & scale
Led distributed teams through the Agile adoption, coordinating stakeholders across the insurance business and engineering.
Approach
Platform integrations and process modernization delivered incrementally, without stopping the business.
CliftonStrengths
How I actually operate
Top five Gallup CliftonStrengths themes (2025), and how each one shows up twice — once in delivery, once on the start line.
Lead
Moving between fintech, insurance and logistics engagements as a subcontractor means constantly re-arranging people, priorities and constraints into a plan that actually holds.
Endure
Balanced an Ironman 70.3 build with live delivery work in the same season — neither one treated as the thing to sacrifice.
Lead
No one-size-fits-all team structure — casts people to the roles that fit them, across teams from a handful to eighteen engineers.
Endure
Credits coaches with turning ambition into results — a tailored plan over a generic one, every season.
Lead
Reviews the existing architecture before committing to change — SOAP-to-API migrations and Docker moves only happen once the target state is mapped.
Endure
Success isn't just the plan — it's flexibility, resource allocation and the ability to keep moving when the plan meets reality.
Lead
Prioritise, then act — the same discipline whether the engagement is three weeks or two years.
Endure
Eighteen unglamorous weeks of base mileage turned into a 2:54:31 marathon and an Ironman 70.3 finish in the same year.
Lead
Staff training and knowledge sharing built into every engagement — spotting the small signs of progress and naming them.
Endure
Recommends strengths-based self-assessment to everyone — understanding what you're good at is how you check a role actually fits.
Off the clock
Endurance, by the numbers
Sport and delivery run on the same logic: a plan, flexibility when reality intervenes, and pacing that gets you to the finish.
